Precision Healthcare - part 4 - HealthTypes™

Continuing on with our foray into Personalized Precision Healthcare...

Now we'll start looking at the various HealthTypes which are assigned, depending on which germ layer grew dominantly in the womb. 

Depending on which of the 3 germ layers grew dominantly in the womb (endoderm (outer), mesoderm (middle) or ectoderm (inner), we develop a different morphology (body structure and type). We are literally the physical and mental manifestation of our embryonic and hormonal development!

So, how we grow in the womb makes us different as individuals - physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically... it creates our morphology and phenotype.

The different germ layer formation also causes a dominance in different hormones, which also affects on our personality, goals and desires. For example, a HealthType with a dominance in testosterone will make us naturally more competitive or aggressive. In other words, endocrinology and morophology affect personality and behaviour!

Put another way, you can’t have a body create shape or morphology without hormones, because hormones have an influence on how all tissues and organs in the body develop and grow. Bodies with similar hormonal dominance will have similar development of organ, neural and systemic function, as well as body size and shape. 

This is why we are all so different, and each need our own personalized healthcare plan. 

There IS not one size fits all. Which is why if we embark on a program of exercise or nutrition which got someone else results, you are not necessarily going to get the same results. 

Can you relate?

  • Have you ever tried a diet which worked for your best friend, but it's not working for you?
  • Have you ever embarked on an exercise routine which worked fantastically for your partner... mother... sister... friend... but didn't work so well for you?

Perhaps it was because your bodytype was not suited to the program! You were going against the grain.

 

 

Most industries (ie, exercise, food,..) encourage generic programming and assume every person needs the same thing to get the same result.

Deciphering which of the 6 HealthTypes™ you are is the start of addressing difference & individuality. 

The truth is:

  • We all come in different shapes and sizes (tall, short, stocky, portly, slim) and shouldn't compare ourselves with others, or try to make ourselves into a shape or size weren't born to be! (I think I've spent my whole life doing that...)
  • We respond differently to certain foods - instead we need to find out the foods WE need to eat to suit our metabolism (not everyone will respond to keto, carbs or protein in the same way)
  • We each need different exercise - some people need and enjoy fast intense training, like a HIIT class or marathon, whilst others need steady training like weight-lifting or walking
  • We each have our own daily rhythmn which suits our nature - some people are earlybirds and suit exercising better in the morning, whilst others are nightowls and need to exercise in the afternoon (no wonder I've never understand how people get to the gym at 6am)
  • We each have different work needs - the type of job which will suit one HealthType will not necessarily suit another - being forced to do a job which doesn't suit your personality or natural skills will only cause frustration and stress
  • We each suit a different location and climate - some thrive in the heat or humidity, whilst others need cool and dry 
  • We all have different social needs - some enjoy and need lots of company, whilst some need more personal time and space

Knowing our unique HealthType tells us exactly what food, exercise, social and living environment etc will best suit US, and bringing maximum health benefits and life enjoyment.

So the questions you have to ask yourself are:

  • Is what you are eating... or how and when you are exercising... and your social life and environment... matched to your unique HealthType™?
  • Is your life in alignment with your natural morphology and phenotype? 

So how do you decipher your HealthType™?

A HealthType is a cluster of tendencies which similar people have. The first step in discovering your Precision Healthcare is to discover your unique HealthType™.

This is done through the Precision Healthcare app, using a comprehensive health assessment which has been developed and refined for over 25 years with hundreds of thousands of people. 

Through the use of anthropometry and other formulas, the germ layers which developed more dominantly when growing in the womb can be deciphered, allowing you to determine which of the 6 HealthTypes you are.

These 6 commonly known HealthTypes™ enable you to begin a conversation about what is healthier to do, eat, drink, think, see and be.

 

(In reality, there are more than just 6 HealthTypes™ -  with 360 degrees on the HealthType™ circle, when your unique lifestyle, lineage, signs, symptoms and other factors are added to the equation, there are infinite computations to consider - this is when your own individual and complex HealthType™ becomes your own unique phenotype. But even just deciphering which of the 6 HealthTypes you are brings with it a stack of data and information which you can use to create your own Precision Healthcare planning). 

 

 

The 6 different HealthTypes in the system are:

  1. Crusador
  2. Activator
  3. Connector
  4. Guardian
  5. Diplomat
  6. Sensor

Each HealthType™ has its own health needs for optimal mental and physical performance including:

  • What foods best suit your metabolism
  • What exercise suits your energy levels and body structure, including what time of the day is best to exercise
  • What sleep rhythmn suits your chronology
  • What social environment will support and nurture you best
  • What work, home and living environments best suit your bodymind
  • and much more besides...
