Why It's Time for a New Healthcare System
Jul 29, 2021
It is clear that the 'conventional' healthcare system is breaking down.
Why is the system breaking down?
- Because it's time.
- Because it is not working.
- Because (in most cases) it does not address the root cause of illness.
All over the world, patients are getting sicker and going bankrupt from medical bills.
Doctors are burning out and making dangerous mistakes.
According to a recent article, "In Quebec, the healthcare system is already on the brink of collapse because of a mass exodus of staff quitting the system... Some hospitals have already lost over 50% of their staff" (1).
Both parties blame our nation’s outdated and dysfunctional healthcare system. But that’s only part of the problem.
When former CEO of The Permanente Medical Group Robert Pearl (who led 10,000 physicians, 38,000 staff with 5 million Kaiser Permanente members over 20 years), decides to shine a light on the unseen and often toxic culture of medicine, maybe it's time to listen.
As a professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, he passionately writes about how "The Culture of Medicine is killing Doctors and Patients”.
This is why practitioners like myself have been plugging away for YEARS in an effort to educate people (both the public and medical professionals) on a NEW WAY of healthcare.
The good news is, many of the answers for what we need to build a new healthcare system are ALREADY here.
It's just a matter of time for people to WAKE UP and understand, and be EDUCATED into this new system (both the public and medical professionals).
There is a new AND BETTER way.
We have been waiting in the wings for a long time, and we - the new healthcare system - are ready.
Are you ready for something better?
We sure are.
We hope you are too.
As I said, the time is now.
